Kindness. Such a simple word, yet so many people have a hard time putting it into practice. I know for me, if I'm having trouble with someone that I don't particularly like, it helps to imagine them as a relative (even a distant one) and then I can at least be civil. Cough*speaking from experience*Cough.
With everything that's happening, I think it's important to practice your kindness muscle. You didn't know you had a kindness muscle? Hmm... Well, if you want to see it, all you have to do is stand in front of a mirror, open your mouth and lift up your tongue. The kindness muscle is located underneath your tongue. That's why you have to be careful. It's too easy to mix that muscle up with the sassier one next to it.
So the next time you find yourself in a situation where you could be sassy or kind, make sure you choose the right muscle. See you Monday.
